Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Lineal website at line.al and the application at app.line.al (the "Service"), operated by [legal entity or "Elton Gjata, sole trader"] ("Lineal", "we"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
1. Beta
The Service is in private beta. It is provided as is, may change or be interrupted, and features may be added or removed without notice. We recommend exporting flattened PDFs of anything you cannot afford to lose. Access is by invitation and may be revoked.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use cloud features. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the drawings, files, markups and other content you put in the Service. You grant us a licence to host, store, process, transmit and display it only as needed to provide the Service to you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to upload it and for sharing it appropriately, including with anyone who gains access through an Autodesk project you bind to Lineal.
4. Autodesk
Autodesk integration uses your own Autodesk account and is subject to Autodesk's terms. We access Autodesk data only as you direct. Autodesk may change or withdraw its APIs; we are not responsible for resulting loss of sync.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, probe or overload our systems, or access projects you are not entitled to. Do not resell the Service without our agreement.
6. Fees
The Service is free during the beta. Before we charge for any plan we will publish prices and give account holders reasonable notice. Local markup features will remain free.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service, and will tell you why where lawful. On termination we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your content unless the termination is for serious breach.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software and design are ours or our licensors'. These terms do not grant you rights in them beyond use of the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Measurements and quantities derived from drawings depend on the accuracy of the drawings and your calibration; verify them before relying on them for construction, purchasing or contractual purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, data or business, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or [100 USD/EUR]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes go to the courts of [place], unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
